Check this out on our blog----->http://openbooksociety.com/article/true-blood-news-for-11-10-11-my-name-is-earl-dale-dickey-marcus-mom-peoples-choice-nomination-how-many-more-seasons/

My Name Is Earl Alum Cast as Marcus’ Mom via TVline.com

true blood is introducing the woman who gave life to late werewolf packmaster Marcus, and they found one tough mother to play her.

My Name is Earl character actress Dale Dickey — who knows a thing or two about channeling formidable, backwoods matriarchs (see: her acclaimed, award-winning performance in last year’s Winter’s Bone) — is joining the HBO hit as Annie, Marcus’ werewolf mother.

Powerful and respected within the pack due to her late son’s position, Annie is determined to perform a particular ritual. Might said ritual involve making Alcide pay for whacking her demon spawn?

true blood Scores People’s Choice Nomination via television blend

The nominations for the 2012 People’s Choice are in and with so many TV categories, added to the separate of network and cable, fans should be pleased with the variety of TV shows and actors that made the list…

The cable and network TV categories are split in some cases, which seems a bit odd, but at the very least, it gives more shows a chance at winning something. While The Good Wife, Grey’s Anatomy, and House are among the noms in Favorite Network TV Drama, Dexter, Game of Thrones and true blood will go head to head among the nominees for Favorite Cable TV Drama.

How Many More Seasons Does True Blood Have Left? via examiner.com

With True Blood between Season 4 and 5 fans are wondering just how long True Blood will last. At one time Alan Ball said that this next year may be his last because he “needed a break” but then later he was talking about the next “couple” of seasons.

In a recent interview Alexander Skarsgard who play Eric Northman confirmed that he had signed a six year contract and was talking about future projects, we can hope for at least two more seasons.

And we know that most actors on a show sign a seven year contract just to hold them in on a cable show then we may have a few more seasons.

But, this week’s announcement gave True Blood fans hope for at least two more seasons.

Co-executive producers Alexander Woo, Raelle Tucker, and Brian Buckner have signed separate 2-year overall deals with HBO.

I have always speculated that once Charlaine Harris releases Deadlocked in May 2012 then her last book in May 2013 that will bring True Blood up to Season 6 ending September 2013.
