The Cullens vamped up my life!!!

« on: July 24, 2010, 12:26:47 PM »

Last week we brought you part 1 of our casting. What if J.R.R. Tolkiens trilogy 'Lord of the Rings' would become a musical - a musical during the 80th. You can read it here. Today we go on with part 2 - featuring Bilbo, Gollum and the Elves.

Bilbo - Elton John
Sir Elton John is successful for decades. Curious and funny and weird but still very brilliant in everything he is doing.

Elves of Rivendell

Arwen - Nena
Germanys most popular 'Neue Deutsche Welle'-girl became also popular in the USA and the rest of the world with her '99 Luftballons', an anti-war-song. She and her band had six songs in the german Top-10 in only three years. Nena is still very popular in Germany.

Elves of Lothlórien

Haldir - Boy George
The most bizarre human during the 80th. First singer of 'Culture Club' which songs 'Do You Really Want to Hurt Me' and 'Karma Chameleon' get number one - later also successful with 'Everything I Own' as solo-singer. Till today Boy George is a very glamorous and unique guy.

What do you think about part 2 of this casting? Are you as a great fan of the 80th as I am? Let us know what you think - thank you!
Next week there will be part three - featuring the Humans and the Villains of Middle Earth.
