SummaryInside the tent, Bella was a Popsicle. And the storm outside just kept picking up. Edward wouldn't even dare go by Bella, afraid to make her even colder than she already was, if it was possible. While Bella chattered away as she attempted to talk Jacob waited out side in wolf form, whining because he knew it was dangerously cold out. Finally Edward had Jacob come inside and warm Bella up. Edward and Jacob of coursed bickered back and forth, Edward was jealous because Jacob could do what he would like to do for Bella. But as Bella started to drift away in to dream land, Jacob and Edward where actually able to hold a normal conversation with out really going at it with one another. It was mostly Jacob asking Edward a lot of questions, he wanted a chance to actually get to know Edward and what went on in his head. Considering Edward can always see what Jacob is thinking. Jacob was pretty stuck on finding out how hard it was for Edward when he had thought he lost Bella. After talking most of the night, they didn't have much else to talk about. Jacob and Bella both drifted off to sleep.
Morning had finally come and Bella was waking up and going in to a heat stroke because of the warmth Jacob was radiating. Jacob had almost consumed the whole sleeping bag, so Edward had to help Bella get it, which in turn almost started a brawl with Jacob. Now that the night before was over, Jacob and Edward where back to pretty much hating each other. So Jacob headed on home to talk to Sam. Edward and Bella still had about an hour left before the new borns would be in the clearing so to distract themselves, they talked about there top ten favorite nights. When Edward finally got around to saying his favorite night, which was when Bella agreed to marry him. A broken howl came from out in the woods. Bella knew that howl anywhere, Jacob was listening and he just heard the last thing he would ever want to hear. The woman he loved was going to marry someone else. Bella couldn't help but think that she was a horrible person for not telling him. She stumbled out of the tent and tried to go off to find Jacob, she needed to talk to him one last time before he went off to battle. But Edward wouldn't let her go out there, instead he went to go look for Jacob. When he returned Jacob was standing off in the woods, Edward left for a few minutes to go talk to Alice and to give Bella and Jacob some privacy. Bella right away started to apologize, but Jacob didn't feel it was sincere, he started saying he would make it easier for everyone and maybe get himself killed in the fight. Bella begged and begged him to stay, but that's not what Jacob wanted. He wanted her to kiss him. she gave in and just let him kiss her, he was so eager and even a little bit angry with his kiss. But even though Bella started off mad at him, she couldn't help her self and she started kissing him back. That's when she realized that she loved Jacob way more than she should and it just keeps hurting everyone. Again she asked him not to go, but he said that he wouldn't be gone long and then he was off to fight.
