Brought to you by OBS staff member Annabell Cadiz

Tinker Bell
Rating: G--suitable for all ages
Director: Bradley Raymond
Running Time: 78 minutes (1 hr. 18 mins.)

Synopsis: Long before Peter Pan and the Lost Boys soared into Neverland, the world's most beloved fairy and her friends were creating their own special magic. For the very first time in film, Tinker Bell opens the doors to Pixie Hollow, a secret hideaway deep in the heart of Neverland, where the Disney Fairies make their homes. Have you ever wondered how a flower gets its color, or pondered the source of a dewdrop, or contemplated where rainbows originate? It’s all the work of fairies! Tinkerbell reveals the story of Tinker Bell's early life in the fantastic world of Pixie Hollow. Each fairy is born with a special talent, whether it's making flowers grow, giving fireflies their light, or tracing beautiful patterns into a winter morning's frost. Tinker Bell thinks her fairy talent as a "tinker" isn't as special or important, because tinkers don't go to the mainland like the other fairies. But when Tink tries to change who she is, she creates nothing but disaster. With encouragement from her friends Fawn (America Ferrera), Iridessa (Raven-Symone), Rosetta (Kristin Chenoweth), and Silvermist (Lucy Liu), Tink (Mae Whitman) learns that the key to solving her problems lies in her unique abilities, and she discovers that when you stay true to yourself, magical things can happen.

Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure
Rating: G--suitable for all ages
Director: Klay Hall
Running Time: 80 minutes (1 hr. 20 mins.)

Synopsis: In Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure, Tinker Bell’s (voice of Mae Whitman) greatest adventure yet takes place in Autumn, as the fairies are on the mainland changing the colors of the leaves, tending to pumpkin patches, and helping geese fly south for the winter. The rare Blue Moon will rise, and when its light passes through the magical Fall Scepter that Tinker Bell has been summoned to create, Pixie Hollow’s supply of pixie dust will be restored. But when Tinker Bell accidentally puts all of Pixie Hollow in jeopardy, she must venture out across the sea on a secret quest to set things right. Along her journey Tink meets new friends, including Blaze (Bob Bergen), a cute and courageous firefly that helps Tinker Bell complete her mission. It’s a long and dangerous journey, full of astonishing encounters, a few narrow escapes and a daring rescue by Tink's friend Terence (Jesse McCartney).

Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue
Rating: G--suitable for all ages
Director: Bradley Raymond
Running Time: 77 minutes (1 hr 17 mins)

Synopsis: What would you do if you met a fairy? Tinker Bell first meets a human being and it’s not who you think. Years before meeting Wendy and the Lost Boys, Tinker Bell met Lizzy, a little girl with a steadfast belief in the power of pixie dust and the magic land of fairies. During the fairies’ summer visit to the flowering meadows of England, two very different worlds unite for the first time and Tink develops a special bond with a curious child in need of a friend. As her fellow fairies launch a daring rescue, Tinker Bell takes a huge risk, putting her own safety and the future of all fairyland in jeopardy.

Review: As a HUGE fan of Disney and all things Tinker Bell related, I was thrilled when Disney announced they would be bringing Tinker Bell’s story to life! The animation is very detailed and gorgeous and lush. I wanted so desperately to be apart of Tinker Bell’s world along with my niece and nephew. The score is so lovely and was wonderfully fitting within each of the movies. All three Tinker Bell movies are charming and enchanting. Each movie is filled with teachings and morals: appreciate who you are and the talents you have; learn to forgive both yourself and your friends; don’t be afraid to ask for help; friends are the best gift you can have in life; trust in yourself.

Some of Disney’s best work and I had a fabulous time watching each of them.

Pick up all three of these movies and enjoy a fun filled evening with the family.

My Rating for all three films: 10/10 stars!
