Why do you think Richard and Ceese dislike each other so intensely? I think a little of it is because of Penny. Like a competition for her attention. At least for Richard that's what it seems.
Do you know the much Werewolf lore? Do you ever wonder why silver bullets supposedly kill werewolves? Yea you know I never thought about it. It's just part of the lore. You just accept it. It's reminds me of the way Blitzball players in Final Fantasy 10 can breath underwater.... it never explains why, they just can.
What do you make of Penny having to sleep all day to recover? What do you think that means? Is it due to old age? Definately age, but since i've read ahead I know a little more so I can't answer this LOL.
Sue where is the list of cool quote's I want to see if I agree with them.

Why do you think Richard and Ceese dislike each other so intensely? I think it has a lot to do with Penny and a little to do with the natural hatred of vampires to werewolves and vice-versa.
Do you know the much Werewolf lore? Do you ever wonder why silver bullets supposedly kill werewolves? I do know a lot of werewolf lore and I find it an absolute challenge to apply logic to things that don't make sense. I think it makes the story more believable. If I wonder about something, I try to figure it out. But I do stick to that tried but true quote, "when the legend becomes fact, print the legend!" :)
What do you make of Penny having to sleep all day to recover? What do you think that means? Is it due to old age? I was thinking Ceese might have done something to her.
Is there something you noticed in this chapter that you'd like to discuss with the book club? It's going to be interesting to see if Penny can get these two to get along and more interesting to find out why she brought them together.
Quotes? :)
[Richard to Mama] "Okay, let's play the game. Only let's start over. Ask me again about her being so young. I'll answer differently, and then you can say anything else except what you just said."
"Where are you going?" he heard Mama call out behind him. "To find a silver bullet," he said, "and a big gun."
"I would never hurt Penny. That's why I stayed away as long as I did." "Yes, well, perhaps you didn't stay away long enough. Perhaps you should go back to wherever it was you came from."
