I have to say that when Edward offered to let Jacob sire a child for Bella was probably my biggest WTF moment.   That was just effed up all the way around!  Jacob's imprint on Nessie didn't freak me out as much as that did.   I felt like the conversations about Quil's imprint on Claire as a toddler were setting us up for something really extreme.
